More cats dilemma?

It's more than a week gone now and the chances of finding Angel seems to be fading away.
There is not one day we do not miss her.
Not one day we do not find her.
We wondered what happened to her.
She has been so close to us, so the chances of her just running away and leaving us seems impossible.
It's not easy for anyone to catch her too.
Maybe she had an accident :((
If she was captured by someone, we hope the new family will love her as we do.

Meanwhile....

We are down to 2 cats.
Our cats dilemma continued.
Baby...or now more frequently called, Pepi is growing up fast. Healthy and good.
She was supposed to be a British Shorthair. That's what the breeder said.
We do have our doubts - huge ones. While she looks like one, her fur is nowhere like one.
While the humans pondered over her breed, Pepi really could not care less.
As long as the food keeps coming, she seems very happy.

We have a new toy...more about that later.

A TRIBUTE TO MAXI, ANGEL AND SAD TIMES HERE

It has been really sad times at our home for the past 2 weeks.

My best buddy, Maxi, died.
He was okay one day and then, the next day, he was gone.
He didn't even make it to the vet.

Here are some infor on our Maxi.
He was the only male cat at home.
Here is Maxi at his favourite spot at home, always under some cabinet..

Maxi is always at this same spot in Mummy's room at night.
No cat or human can occupy this space.
He will wrestle with any cats who tried to steal this spot.

Maxi is the softest, kindest and loving cat ever.
Any person who sees him said the same word : adorable!
He was also the biggest cat with the fluffiest fur!
Healthy appetite and loves to sleep.

Maxi is also knows as Mr Squishy nose..the most flat faced Persians we have known so far.
Big size apart, he is really a huge teddy bear.
He loves food and is the kindest cat in our home.
Maxi hates eye cleaning which all Persians have to do!
He will close his eyes tightly and know it's eyes cleaning time.

Here's Maxi and his bushy tail.
We cats like to bully him and bite his tail sometimes.
He rarely fights back but always ran away to hide under bookshelves or more cabinets.

Here is Maxi and me.
We have both came a long.
As Persians, we are the closest and always are together.
The family missed him a lot.
The family loves him and I love you too, Maxi.
We know you will have plenty of kibbles in Kitty heaven.
You will forever be in our hearts.
Maxi has been buried within our home compound, so though he is no longer around, he is always still close to us.
Goodbye, Maxi my wrestling partner.

AND, if losing Maxi was bad.
Our bad luck didn't end there in just losing a kitty.

Our American Shorthair, Angel, went missing for the 2nd time.
She was lost once, but came back home after 2 days.
After that time, she is always around house.
She still goes out everyday to catch cockraches and geckos for the other cats..., but she always comes home without fail.
However, this time, she is missing for more than 5 days. Longest ever.
We are all confident she did not run away because she has her daily routine.
Morning walk, home, evening walk, but always at night without fail.
Always sleeping next to Mummy. Doing her kitty massage on her lap at times. Or getting her head rub every night.
Angel was most attached to Mummy because they have this special bond at night.
Come home soon Angel. We are down to 2 kitties for now 'sob'sob'.
We can never be angry with Angel. One look at her green eyes and everyone's heart will be melted...
Sad times continue....

Both humans and cats loved both of them so much.
We doubt if any other cats can ever replace them, they hold such special place in our hearts.

RIP Maxi.
Come home soon Angel.

For now, we are down to 2 kitties only :(

BATH TIME AND ANGEL

Bath time.
We dont like it but we had to have it.
The first few times was a nightmare.
I scratched mummy till the gloves were in shreds :(
My buddy below, Maxi...well, he pooped in the water for the first time.
Over the months. It improved...a lot..much to the relief of our human family.
Here's Maxi enjoying his bath. He doesn't even move or struggle much, just sitting pretty in the tub.

Maxi after bath time. Okay, maybe he was a bit grumpy but no struggle :)

Baby being the newest member had a tougher time in the tub.
Not happy too but she'll get used to it.

Here's me watching telly with Miss Em. We are great buddies as we are all here because she loves us cats the most. The rest of the family are cat-lover-converts now. Mummy said I am putting on weight well and looking very much like my buddy, Maxi.  Maybe but I am prettier :)

Everyone had a bath, except Angel.
She came back from the Vet after spending 3 days there.
She has been spayed and recovering really well.
Her wound is clean and dry but she protested for wearing the COLLAR.
However, she is a really, really good girl for coping so well.

Here she is lazing under the rays of sunshine.
Life at home is back to normal now.
Angel is no longer 'on heat' and driving us cats and human bonkers with her non-stop wailing.
She no longer dash out of the door at the first opportunity.
She no longer jump on every counter looking for an opened window.
She no longer pees everywhere at home.
She no longer raise her butt in an unlady like manner.
She no longer runs away from home. She did that 2 times before.
So, finally, we are all happy.

No sun-lounging for me.
Us Persians like to sleep a lot and anywhere cool is fine.
Here's a favourite spot at Mum's room downstairs.
Maxi and I love it because on hot afternoons, the air condition is on :)

Bye for now :)

ANGEL IS BACK!

It was not the first time she went out.
She went out many times, but it was the first time she was missing for the longest time.
We were very sure she wanted to come home but could not find the way.
After a full night of search, everyone was sad and had to give up finding her.

This morning, we were woken by the non-stop meow-ing outside the door.
Angel is back!
We are super glad. She's super glad too and ate, and drank like there was not tomorrow.

Welcome home Angel :)

PERSIANS AND A MISSING CAT

Maxi is the only male in our feline family, and the biggest in size.
However, he is a real sweet heart and the most gentle of all.
As Persians, we always stick together...and I do mean...together.

We are both orange-y in colour. So, many times our human family are confused on who is who. Except that I am smaller with white socks, they sometimes call us the wrong name.
Here I am with sleepyhead, Maxi. Can you spot us?

Those white socks are mine! Otherwise, you cannot really see the difference between us when we are hugging together...or when we are wrestling.  And, we wrestle a lot!

Nope, apart from the face...we both look like one big tangled orange-y kitties.

Talking about kitties. Angel has been sneaking out of the house through the windows.
Our human family is not very happy with her roaming and she has done that almost every alternate day.
They tried remembering to close the window, but there are so many at home.
Unfortunately, for now, she has ran away and nowhere to be found :((
She is the only kitty that is totally on her own. She doesn't join us in any play time and doesn't like to be held by anyone. Let's hope she will find her way home as Mummy is losing hope of her coming back :((

Here's me and Angel having a face-off. We aren't buddies yet..
She only likes to play with Baby, our Brit shorthair. Maybe it's something to do with longhair works better with the long, and shorthair pairs better with the same kind.
Don't mind my scruffy fur...just woke up from my beauty sleep.

We will update soon on poor Angel. She's not my 'wrestling partner' for now..but I do hope she is safe and back home.

Love, Princess  ^oo^

ANGEL

Hello and let's talk about Angel, our American Shorthair.

She was the 3rd feline addition to our household.
Pretty much a loner.
Likes to hang around the family.
Does not favour being hold most of the time.
Eats the least wet food.
Super charged and hyper active cat.
The leanest and can jumps really high.

Here she is lounging around.

We all got a new watering hole. Great! as cats love to drink from flowing water.

She LOVES outdoor. The first to jump into our outdoor cage and claws into the cage to stay in. Here she is on our top deck, always getting the best views.

The first to be on 'heat', drove everyone nuts. Soon to be spayed....Snip, snip! Sorry Angel!

In her all time favourite basket.  The most curious cat in the house, always poking her nose around every corner.

Under the dining table,  gotta love those green eyes :)

More to come :)

FEELING BLUE...

BLUE is the feeling I have nowadays.
Our feline brood has extended.
We have another new kitten to our existing 3. So, it's 4 now.
Kinda crowded actually. Mummy said that's it and no more. 4 is more than all our human family can handle.
4 X more food to feed, and 4 X more poop to clear.
So, I hope for everyone's sake, 4 is enough.
Baby Blue is the latest kitten. She's 3 months old and a British Shorthair.
A real firecracker who has this enormous amount of energy to play non-stop.
So far, the best 'fur-baller' at home. She's really, really good with the ball.  It's her, Maxi and Angel chasing the ball all over the house. A kitten with a huge appetite too! I don't know why they called her a Blue British Shorthair, because she looks anything but blue to me. More like gray. Or maybe a huge gray mouse :(
She fitted in super easy with everyone and plays with Angel most of the time. Our human kiddies like to compare us 'the oranges' against the 'blacks..or greys' because that's more like the colour of this British Shorthair...which a perpetual grin on her face !
After more than a week and the humans still have a problem naming her, so she's Baby Blue for now...but I am sure the name will change soon.

Here's Angel lounging on the chair. We are all getting used to her. Us Persians like to lie low and sleep under all cabinets, tables and chair. So, Angel came and broke all the rules. She sleeps on the bed, which was a huge no-no for the human family. She jumps on all counter, tables and chair. Even that Maxi guy started to move to higher ground. So after a weeks of unsuccessful training and re-training, the human family gave up and left her to be at her fav spot. The couch. Her being on the couch means 'patting time' and everyone can pat and stroke her. Otherwise, she will not let anyone cuddle or hold her.

Overall, we're good. All 4 of us. Playtime is always between Maxi and I, and the Blue and Angel are a pair.

Over the weekend, we got sent to a pet hotel. All of us are not happy. Confined space is not norm for us as we roam free the entire house. Being in a noisy environment especially with dogs are were also not fun, but human family had a trip out, so we had to go there for a night. However, one night felt like one week...so, please don't send us anywhere anymore.

Mummy wonder if there is such thing as pet sitting.
If someone can come over and feed us would be perfect, then we do not need to leave our home.
Or, if there is such possibilities of exchange pet sitting? Where pet owners can work out some sort of schedule to send the pets to each other house for a day or two. Definitely beats the idea of staying in a pet hotel.

Finally, Maxi got sent to the groomers again in a short period. He got a much shorter cut.  Mummy said it's much easier to manage because, otherwise, he's this huge hairy beast roaming around in the house.

More pictures soon..

STAYING OUT

Hello :) At the request of the human children, mummy had to upload more photos and do a new post. Mummy doesn't understand why the children want to read from a blog when they can see the cats everyday. Well, here goes our day.

Whenever the family are at home, we get to stay outside in the morning and evening (no sun please). So, here are a couple of shots of us.

Okay, I am not all happy caged up for some fresh air and sunshine. Here's me pleading to be let back home.

I tried to use my big dolefull eyes to muumy but no go, she's just happy snapping pictures.

It was refreshing though to be surrounded by lots of trees and flowers. I love to see and hear those birds chirping away....if only I could get hold of them....hmm, I still can dream right?

So, while I was enjoying the outdoors, guess what the big guy was doing? What he is in what he always does best! Sleep :)

Mummy put our outdoor home near the lotus pond so we can see the small fishes swimming. Yeah, I can see them alright...just can't reach them. Maybe one day, my paws will grow long enough :)

Ahhh...the new cat. Angel.
You do know by now we have a new addition to our feline home.
Angel is cosying up well with the family, especially no. 2, Miss EL, but not to both of us.
Angel is an American Shorthair who is this super active, super charged cat jumping from table to counter.  She does seems kind of smart but we two Persians are slowly (very slowly) adjusting to her.  As I wished for the Big guy, Max, she still didn't run away - yet or got sent away.

Finally, we all got sent to the Vet yesterday.
Everyone got de-wormed :((
Everyone got our shots updated :(((
I was not happy with Maxi. He was grinning all the way.
Angel was growling at the Vet herself but at home, she was fine.
Me? As usual, bathing and Vet aren't my favourite...I shy away from everything, food included. That's how much I dislike going to the Vet.

Miaoweee for now.
Furry-ly yours, Princess.
